Procedure and Recovery
Liposuction: Traditional liposuction uses a thin tube, or cannula, to break up and suction fat from the body. It’s ideal for targeting larger areas of fat deposits for a more pronounced contour change.
Body Jet Lipo: This gentler, water-assisted lipo sculpting technique uses a stream of saline solution to dislodge fat before it’s suctioned out. It’s less traumatic to the tissue, offering quicker recovery times and reduced bruising.
Smart Lipo: A form of laser lipolysis, Smart Lipo uses laser energy to liquefy fat before removal. This technique also promotes skin tightening in the treated areas, providing an added benefit beyond fat removal.
Recovery varies depending on the specific liposuction technique used. Generally, clients can expect some swelling and bruising, with specific post-operative instructions to maximize healing and outcomes. Activity restrictions and wearing compression garments are common parts of the recovery process.
