Skin Treatments?

GraceMed offers several kinds of laser skin rejuvenation treatments to improve the tone and texture of the skin. Laser treatment is safe, effective and less invasive than surgical methods, and it requires less downtime.

Photofacial

The Photofacial system is designed to treat sunspots, other areas of sun damage, rosacea and spider veins. GraceMed uses a broadband light system, which is similar to a laser but uses a much larger treatment window than most lasers, spreading light over a wider area of skin for faster coverage.

During treatment, the Photofacial laser handpiece emits pulses of light that are absorbed by the pigment in the sunspots and visible blood vessels and then converted to heat. The heat dissolves the cells that create the pigment and shrinks the vessels so they gradually disappear from view.

Acne Treatment

GraceMed has seen excellent results in treating acne with a laser. Exposing the skin to different kinds of laser light kills bacteria that cause acne-related redness and swelling. A provider slides the handpiece over the skin, it delivers concentrated pulses of light that target acne-causing bacteria. After treatment, some laser acne treatment patients experience an initial flare-up, but then see an overall reduction in the number of lesions.

ProFractional Laser Treatment

ProFractional is a laser resurfacing procedure that can treat scars, irregular pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles and acne. Whereas full-field skin resurfacing removes the entire top layer of skin in the treatment area, fractional resurfacing uses a laser micro-beam to make tiny injuries in the skin, leaving the surrounding tissue intact. This pattern encourages rapid healing and the production of collagen and elastin for healthier, more vibrant skin.

MicroLaserPeel

A MicroLaserPeel removes the top layer of damaged skin to reveal a fresh layer of healthy skin. As the skin heals, fresh cells grow and resurface the treated area. MicroLaserPeel can effectively treat aesthetic imperfections such as mild wrinkles, scars, sun-damaged areas, irregular pigmentation and keratosis, and your treatment will be tailored to your specific skin concerns. GraceMed has found that some patients achieve their desired results from one treatment, whereas others benefit from a series of treatments.

Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal effectively reduces or eliminates unwanted hair from virtually anywhere on the body, including the legs, arms, bikini area, back, chest or face. The laser light destroys hair follicles that are in the active growth stage, thereby preventing them from producing any more hair. Depending on the size of the treatment area, several laser hair removal sessions may be needed to achieve the desired results.
