Procedure and Recovery
During the HALO™ Skin Resurfacing Treatment, your provider will use the state-of-the-art HALO™ device, a hybrid fractional laser that uniquely combines two types of wavelengths. The device is carefully passed over your skin, simultaneously emitting both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths. The ablative laser targets the outermost layers of skin, precisely removing microscopic columns of tissue to promote surface renewal. The non-ablative laser penetrates deeper into the skin without removing any tissue, which stimulates collagen production and accelerates the skin’s natural healing process. This dual-action approach allows for dramatic improvements in overall skin texture and tone with less downtime than traditional resurfacing lasers. The entire process is controlled and precise, ensuring even treatment across all treated areas for optimal results.
Following this laser skin renewal treatment, you may experience initial redness and mild swelling, which typically subsides within a few days. Skin peeling is common and signifies the rejuvenation process. Most patients return to normal activities within a week, with improved skin appearance evident within 2-3 weeks.
HALO™ skin resurfacing treatments are well-tolerated; however, potential complications may include temporary pigment changes, prolonged redness, or very rarely, scarring. Our skilled practitioners ensure optimal settings and care to minimize risks.

FAQs
Typically, patients can resume makeup application 24 to 48 hours after the treatment, once the initial redness has subsided.
Most patients experience minimal discomfort thanks to the topical anesthetic applied before the procedure. Sensations of warmth or tingling are common during treatment.
Many patients see significant improvement after just one session, but some may benefit from additional treatments depending on their skin condition and goals.
HALO™ combines two laser wavelengths to target both surface and deeper skin concerns simultaneously, leading to effective results with less downtime.
