Dr. Emily Ballantyne, BMSc, MD, CCFP, is a skilled and thoughtful Family Physician practicing in Skin Disorders at our GraceMed Olde Oakville clinic.
With her specialized training in skin care and conditions, Dr. Ballantyne helps treat medical and cosmetic skin concerns like eczema, acne, rosacea, mole removal as well as early skin cancer detection and treatment.
With an understanding that a person’s skin and physical appearance is directly related to self-esteem and wellbeing, Dr. Ballantyne defines her practice as a safe and trusting space where patients can feel supported and satisfied with their options, experience and outcomes.

Educational Background
Dr. Ballantyne completed her Bachelor of Medical Science degree and received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Western Ontario. After earning her medical degree, she completed her residency in Family Medicine at McMaster University. Additionally, Dr Ballantyne went on to receive further specialized training in skin conditions through Cardiff University in Wales, UK, where she continued to pursue her passion in growing her skills and experience in the dermatology field.

Dr. Ballantyne currently runs her dermatology practice out of our GraceMed Olde Oakville clinic, a professional and patient-focused environment centred around helping each and every person look and feel their best.
When she’s not busy tending to her practice or patients, Dr. Ballantyne finds time to pursue her passion for education as an Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct) for the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster University.
Dr. Ballantyne also belongs to the College of Family Physicians of Canada, the Ontario Medical Association, and the Canadian Medical Association.
