Dr. Retrouvey brings a wealth of experience and expertise in plastic and reconstructive surgery, with a special focus on top surgery and gender-affirming procedures.

Dr. Retrouvey is a board-certified plastic surgeon and an Assistant Professor at McMaster University. She completed her medical degree at McGill University Medical School and her residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Toronto. Additionally, she holds a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology, focusing on improving access to breast reconstruction for women with breast cancer.

Dr. Retrouvey further honed her skills during a fellowship at the University of Colorado, specializing in hand surgery, skin cancer pathology management, and gender-affirming surgery.
