Personalized Breast Surgery Plan

Cosmetic Breast Surgery – Day of Surgery
Breast surgery is usually performed on an outpatient basis, so you will return home the day of your procedure. Anesthesia medications will be administered for your comfort. The doctor will begin by making surgical incisions in the predetermined location (usually around the areola and breast crease). Through the incisions, he will make the necessary surgical modifications: placing implants, removing excess tissue/fat, or reshaping the breast higher on the chest. . When the process is finished, they will close the incisions with sutures and bandage the breast.
Following your consultation with your GraceMed surgeon, you’ll be given detailed instructions for pre and post-surgery care by the clinic. This may include eating or drinking restrictions or special washing instructions before surgery. At this time, you’ll have another chance to ask any questions prior to your surgery. For the surgery, you’ll be given general anesthesia. Surgery will be performed and then you’ll be closely monitored until you wake up. Once you’ve met all release requirements, you’ll be on your way home to recover in the comfort of your own home.
