Revitalize Your Hair Growth, Naturally
Discover the natural solution to hair thinning and loss with PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Hair Treatments at GraceMed. This innovative treatment leverages the healing power of your own blood to stimulate hair follicles and promote new hair growth. Ideal for individuals experiencing early signs of hair loss, PRP therapy involves extracting a small amount of your blood, processing it to enrich for platelets, and reinjecting it into your scalp. Procedure and Recovery
During PRP treatments, , a small amount of blood is drawn from your arm. This blood is then spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelets, creating a concentrated plasma. This plasma is rich in growth factors and bioactive proteins essential for hair growth and scalp health. The concentrated PRP is then carefully injected into the areas of your scalp where hair thinning has occurred. The procedure is quick, with minimal discomfort, and requires no sedation or significant recovery time.
There is minimal recovery required following a PRP Hair Treatment. Patients can return to daily activities immediately. Some might experience mild swelling or redness at the injection sites, which typically resolves within a few hours. It is advised to avoid washing your hair or engaging in heavy physical activity for at least 48 hours to allow the treatment area to stabilize.
PRP Hair Treatments are generally safe with a low risk of complications. Possible side effects include temporary hair shedding, mild pain at the injection sites, and rare chances of infection.
