The leader in hormonal health medicine
The Institute for Hormonal Health is the premier integrative medical clinic in Canada specializing in the treatment of health issues that are hormonal in origin. The Institute utilizes state-of-the-art technology and an unparalleled team of medical professionals to provide the highest level of care.
Evidence-based medicine with naturopathic and nutritional support.
The Institute for Hormonal Health has created a program that integrates the evidence-based science of both Western medicine and naturopathic medicine, and anchored them on a foundation of nutritional science. This integrative approach enables the IHH team to treat the root causes of a hormonal issue, and not just the symptoms.
Dr. Emily Rotella, ND firmly believes it is crucial to understand the root cause of why you are not feeling your best in order to optimize your health.
She will do this by actively listening to your unique health story with the aim towards understanding what your symptoms may be saying about your health and the underlying causes of imbalance. Together, you will determine the best treatment options for you and your lifestyle. As a Naturopathic Doctor, she utilizes comprehensive lab testing, nutritional guidance and supplementation, botanical medicines, acupuncture, bio-identical hormones and lifestyle modifications to help you take charge of your health.
Dr. Rotella began her health education journey at the University of Toronto where she received an Honours Bachelor degree, double majoring in Health & Disease and Psychology. She furthered her education at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine where she received her Doctorate of Naturopathy.
After graduation, she successfully completed the Ontario Prescribing and Therapeutics examination which licensed her to perform IV infusions, Vitamin injections, prescribe bio-identical hormone therapy and dessicated thyroid. She is a member in good standing with the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), and the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO).
