The leader in hormonal health medicine
The Institute for Hormonal Health is the premier integrative medical clinic in Canada specializing in the treatment of health issues that are hormonal in origin. The Institute utilizes state-of-the-art technology and an unparalleled team of medical professionals to provide the highest level of care.
Evidence-based medicine with naturopathic and nutritional support.
The Institute for Hormonal Health has created a program that integrates the evidence-based science of both Western medicine and naturopathic medicine, and anchored them on a foundation of nutritional science. This integrative approach enables the IHH team to treat the root causes of a hormonal issue, and not just the symptoms.
Dr. Ehab Mohammed is a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) as well as a conventionally trained Medical Doctor (MD) specializing in clinical oncology.
Dr. Mohammed completed medical school at Cairo University in Egypt where he graduated with honours and then joined the clinical oncology residency program where he was trained in chemotherapy, radiation and palliative care. Dr. Mohammed also obtained his Masters Degree in oncology and his Medical Doctorate in radiation oncology. During his 20 years of oncology practice, Dr. Mohammed published 35 peer-reviewed clinical research articles on breast cancer, colorectal cancer, female genital cancer, prostate cancer and brain tumors. He was promoted to professor of clinical oncology in the Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University in 2009.
Dr. Mohammed received his board certification in naturopathic medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in 2015, spent one year at the integrative cancer clinic at Robert Shad Naturopathic Clinic in Toronto, and two years in the research department of CCNM, researching naturopathic support of colon cancer patients. In 2017, this research was presented at the annual American Association of Naturopathic Physicians Conference (AANP) in Phoenix, Arizona.
It was Dr. Mohammed’s exposure to cancer centres in Canada including the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal where he first appreciated the significant impact that mind-spirit medicine can have on the outcomes of various ailments including cancer. It was with this understanding that he pursued the study of naturopathic medicine in Toronto where he also earned his Intravenous (IV) Infusion Therapy and Pharmaceutical Prescription licenses. Dr. Mohammed promotes a collaborative and integrative approach to patient care and because of his familiarity with both conventional and naturopathic approaches to oncology care he is in a unique position to bridge the gap between these two medical communities.
Dr. Mohammed is pleased to support cancer patients by offering the best individually designed naturopathic methods using the state-of-the-art scientific knowledge and evidence-based practice. Many patients have achieved high levels of immune support and better tolerance to cancer treatments under his care.
