Cosmetic Facial Surgery
If the signs of aging on your face are bothering you a cosmetic facial surgery may be a solution for you. Facial surgery can help reduce the signs of:
- Sagging skin
- Deep age created lines and wrinkles
- Deep creases below the lower eyelids
- Deep creases along the nose extending to the corner of the mouth
- Fat that has fallen over time from gravity
- Natural loss of muscle tone in the lower face may create jowls
- Loose skin and excess fatty deposits under the chin and jaw can make even a person of normal weight appear to have a double chin
Types of Cosmetic Facial Surgery
Also known as an eyelid lift, blepharoplasty involves the removal of excess skin or fat around the eyes. Drooping eyelids or undereye bags can happen as a result of aging or due to hereditary factors. Severe drooping can even affect a person’s vision. After blepharoplasty, your eyes will look more youthful, giving you a less tired appearance overall.
A brow lift is also known as a forehead lift. It will improve the look of the forehead by correcting low eyebrows, drooping eyelids, and deep wrinkles in the frown or forehead. It can also correct asymmetry of the eyebrows. A brow lift may be done alone or in combination with other surgical procedures such as a facelift or blepharoplasty.
A facelift is one of the most common surgical procedures for those seeking a younger appearance. This procedure addresses sagging cheeks, excess skin along the jawline (“jowls”), deep smile lines, and aging within the neck. A facelift gives a more refreshed appearance by addressing changes in the shape of your face that naturally occur with aging.
A minimally invasive procedure that helps lift the lower part of the face. Long-lasting results are possible when the underlying tissues and muscles are also lifted and reshaped. A mini-lift can be performed as an outpatient procedure.
The neck is another area prone to visible age-related changes. A neck lift, also known as platysmaplasty, removes fat deposits and sagging skin on the neck resulting in a more youthful appearance. This procedure is often performed at the same time as a facelift for optimal results.
In addition to surgical facial procedures, GraceMed offers a full selection of non-surgical treatments that will help to refresh your look and rebuild your confidence. Non-invasive procedures are excellent as stand-alone therapies and can be included with surgical procedures to complement and further enhance results. A consultation with our team of experts will allow us to develop a treatment plan to help you reach your aesthetic goals.
Dermal fillers are injectable products that correct common signs of aging and contribute to a more youthful and healthy-looking appearance. Facial fillers are very popular amongst patients who want to look their best but aren’t ready to commit to surgical facial rejuvenation. GraceMed believes in offering patients a choice of their face treatment and provides several different filler options.
Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid-based filler that temporarily restores volume and enhances facial features for a naturally refreshed appearance. Hyaluronic acid naturally exists in our skin and is responsible for hydration, and helping the skin maintain its volume and elasticity. When injected, Juvederm plumps the skin while filling in the treated area. Commonly treated areas include cheeks, lips, nasolabial folds, chin, and jawline. Results are instant and patients can return to their normal activities after the treatment.
Sculptra is a longer-lasting facial filler made from poly-l-lactic acid. It is primarily used to sculpt the contours of the chin, cheeks, temples, and eye area. It is also ideal for filling in sunken cheeks and thickening thin skin. Sculptra stimulates the body to produce more collagen, which firms the skin and smoothes lines and wrinkles. Results occur over an initial series of injections and can last two years or longer.
As an alternative to fillers such as Juvederm, GraceMed also offers fat injections. This involves the use of liposuction techniques to harvest unwanted fatty tissue from another area of the body (e.g., the abdomen or hips). The fat is then injected into areas of the face that need additional support and volume. The results are natural-looking, safe, and long-lasting. Also, the donor area that supplies the fat benefits from liposuction.
Botox® Cosmetic is a purified protein that is highly effective at reducing wrinkles on the face – most commonly frown lines, forehead lines, and crows feet.. Botox can also be used as therapeutically to treat certain medical conditions such as neck spasms (cervical dystonia), excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), overactive bladder, blepharospasm. and chronic migraine.
