great environment, very thorough and barely any wait time for appointments. dr. ballantyne explains procedures clearly... and gives physical notes to help you remember. she does not pressure you to get cosmetic procedures done and answers questions honestly and very clearly. she also makes you feel comfortable and does not make appointments stressful (especially helpful for minors and people with anxiety). overall better experience than with other dermatologists ive been to.read more

My wife had a consultation with Tina at this location. Prior to it, there had been a couple of disappointments from the... front desk staff, which lead me to posting a negative review. It was upsetting, but since then my wife has been extremely happy with the service received from the specialist, Tina.She visited Tina for a consultation, where she broke down the process to healing my wife’s skin. She creates a plan that specified the best products to get the job done, along with simplified scientific explanation that allowed her to understand what is happening with her skin. My wife was genuinely pleased with the service received by Tina and was amazed by her knowledge and professionalism.My younger brother has been going to Tina for over a year and has been raving about her since. He has had a drastic improvement with his skin since meeting her. He visits her frequently and recommended Tina to my my mom, sister-in-law, and my wife. All of them have different skin tones and needs. They’ve been very happy with the service provided by Tina. Tina was able to drastically improve my brother’s acne, when he did not have success elsewhere.My disappointment towards the front desk staff is pushing me from providing a 5 star review, but Tina’s done an exceptional job and is clearly the best at what she does, that I’m inclined to provide a 5 star review. If I could give a MINUS 5 star review I would. This 1 star is being VERY generous. I am very disappointed in how the... office manager, on Aug 8, 2022, handled my moms “supposed booking”.The office manager, with full knowledge that my mom was NOT notified nor did she confirm ANYTHING, was SCAMMING my mom to pay $50 dollars for a no show.In this day and age of emails, text and phone calls we can show you that we have received NONE.Way to bleed senior citizens dry and rob them blind by doing this!! Especially after explaining the situation, the office manager still wanted the money. They give off so blatantly how they DO NOT care about the patient at all.read more

One star is generous. What a scam. So disappointed with the office management of this location. I have been waiting for... appointment for so long. I finally had my family doctor resend the referral because no one contacted me about the first referral. The office manager called me regarding the second referral. She said I missed my previous appointment. I never got a call, voicemail, or email about this old appointment. They said I was a "no show", and the only way to reactivate my account was to pay a $50 charge. No matter how much I explained that I never received the appointment notice or even confirmed anything, they said I had to pay the $50. There was not an ounce of accountability on their end to even admit the possibility of a communication breakdown. Basically, they can book an appointment on their end without telling you, and charge you for a $50 "no-show" fee. Like I said, a scam.read more

Unbelievable experience. Office is meticulously clean and bright. Front desk staff were so friendly, flexible,... efficient and helpful. No words can explain how absolutely kind, caring and qualified Dr. Ballantyne and Dr. Taylor are. Both have a Fabulous bedside manor. I was suffering with a condition for many months (even while seeing a different dermatologist) they were both super compassionate and under their care I began to feel better within days. This is one of the best dermatology clinics that I have yet to come across. Not only is the staff amazing and friendly... but they also create such a welcoming and approachable environment, I was at another dermatology clinic down the road from this one prior to finding GraceMed and I can tell you for certain that the customer service and patient treatment did not come close to compare to this GraceMed Clinic. One of the key reasons that I will and continue to come back to this clinic is because of how determined they are to prioritize each and every patient. Most dermatology clinics are very booked up which is difficult when trying to get an appointment about my skin, but GraceMed Oakville always seems to make sure that their patients are able to come in as soon as possible and always booking them for the next appointment available. Definitely recommend coming here!!read more
